A vision to create a world-class public education system in Rhode Island.
These metrics were established with the intent to create a long-term approach for creating a world-class public education system that prepares all students to succeed in life and contribute productively to the community for Pre-K thru 12 students in Rhode Island. The system outputs identified by the Rhode Island Foundation-led Long-term Education Planning Committee (High Standards, Educator Development and Quality, Investment Priorities, and Strong Governance) are intended to achieve the following student level outcomes:
- Academic, social and civic success.
- Support for students’ physical and mental well-being.
- Access to equitable learning environments for all students.
